I have analysed the EEG dataset available on Openneuro, - 'UC San Diego Resting State EEG Data from Patients with Parkinson's Disease' by authors Alexander P. Rockhill, Nicko Jackson, Jobi George, Adam Aron, Nicole C. Swann Purpose of this analysis was to build my skills in EEG data analysis. Simultaneously, I have tried fitting a Gaussian Mixture Model to this analysis to explore any latent variable influencing EEG slowing pattern. It did revealed two latet variables primarily in the overall magnitude of cortical slowing rather than in distinct regional patterns
