Code, Creativity, and Communications

Hi, my name is Riki, and I'm a Software Engineering student at uOttawa, focused on full-stack development. I am a tech-savvy and aspiring software engineer in training, with a background in design, marketing, and management.

I'm actively maintaining a personal website to showcase my skills and developing a content management system. On the side, I am learning WordPress, mySQL, PHP, and React.

I volunteer as a Communications Advisor with the uOttawa Software Engineering Student Association (SESA). Previously, I served as the elected Communications Lead for SESA. I have also worked as a Youth Program Coordinator, Assistant Band Director, and Social Media Designer.

I am currently seeking Winter 2026 CO-OP opportunities. I hope these internships will allow me to learn from industry professionals and further develop my technical skills, helping me reach my career goal as a software engineer.
