This pull request introduces a minor release update for the project. The main change is a version bump to 1.21.2, along with the addition of a new unreleased section in the changelog to track upcoming changes.

Release management:

  • Updated the version in pyproject.toml from 1.21.1 to 1.21.2 to reflect the new release.
  • Added a new 1.21.2 - 2025-12-10 section in CHANGELOG.md to document changes for the upcoming release.
