yes, indeed, this is the CNDS environment and has no relation to the SCS Hardware Lab.
We should probably reference (and not duplicate it) this table:

We probably good see that the hardware-landscape is hooked into the docs building, so that we inline the info from there.

I think this is correct. We use the CNDS environment for the DNS management of the SCS lab.
