Bug: Leaving hammer open for extended periods causes a higher chance for a PC lock-up upon saving.

Describe the bug

So uh, this is a bit of a strange one, but this has happened 2 times for me now, essentially whenever hammer is left open for an extremely long period of time, it seems to increase the chance of the program locking up your entire computer when it saves.

This becomes a serious issue as your computer in state is completely unresponsive and forces a restart from the tower, when this lockup occurs, it will also corrupt the .vmf file you were working on, and in some rare cases it'll also corrupt the .vmx file aswell.

To Reproduce

Leave hammer open for an extended period of time in a map, 24 hours or more, put the computer in sleep mode if you have to and then wake it up the next day, continue to leave it open and have it save like it does, and eventually your PC should completely lockup upon hammer saving.

Expected Behavior

I expect hammer to not lock the computer up completely when left open for extended periods of time, while most people wouldn't do this, it's an issue that should still be fixed nonetheless.
