EMPIRE DANCE KENYA PROJECT

Project Overview

This project acts as a culmunation of my 12-months ALX SE Program at ALX AFRICA having specializied in front-end development. It involve a simple web app that enable users(clients) to book their dance classes online, sign in as members and also view more information about Empire Dance Kenya which in this case, is a dance company offering spaces for dance studio, offering dance classes, hosting events etc. Through this i am able to showcase my expertise in Front-end developmnet precisely using React and other libraries.

Frameworks, libraries used in this project

2. AOS - animate on scroll library helps in displaying animations on the page[https://www.npmjs.com/package/aos]

3. Firebase - used for user aunthentication[https://console.firebase.google.com/]

4. JSPDF - used to render invoice in pdf format and downloadable[https://www.npmjs.com/package/jspdf]

5. Tailwind css - for styling using pre-rendered classes[https://tailwindcss.com/]

6. React slick/slicker-carousel - styling and animation[https://react-slick.neostack.com/]

Istalling this project on your machine

1. clone this repository into your local machine
2. Navigate to front-end directory/folder
3. Run npm install to install all necessary packages and dependecies
4. Once complete, run npm start to start a server at port 3000

5. Navigate to your browswer[http://localhost:3000/] and view the app
