For Players
Have you ever wondered why monsters on the continent of Minecraft always attack players indiscriminately or conditionally? It is inevitable to feel lonely and afraid while living here - the only way to survive is to keep fighting? No! Maybe fighting will make your blood spurt, maybe fighting will give you a different experience, but this is far from lively, but another kind of loneliness.
If you can achieve the wishes of the monsters, live in harmony with them, dance happily together, and run freely under the sun - this is the real peace, and this is the real lively.
This mod adds more than ten kinds of natural structures, nearly ten kinds of biological entities, dozens of blocks and items, and adds a mission system for vanilla monsters. Players can use their brainpower and technology to complete the tasks given by monsters - to defeat powerful enemies, or to search for treasures, or to produce and labor, or to find the truth of something... When the player completes all the commissions of a monster, this monster will be no longer aggressive to the player.
So, my dear adventurer, go and make this cruel and lonely world become lively!
Use Key 'M' to show the mission lists, you'll see what to do next.
Go and find some weird structures in the world, go inside and trigger the mission, or talk with NPC to trigger.
When you want to give something to the NPC, hold it on your mainhand and interact with the NPC by right click him/her/it.
After your finishing all the missions given by a monster, they will never be aggressive to you.
You can also install Patchouli mod, which will give you a guide book about this mod, to make it easier to get started.
Q: Has the mod development been completed? Are there only a few tasks?
A: No, the mod will continue updating. It is expected that there will be hundreds of missions in the end, covering almost all hostile creatures and most friendly creatures in the original MC.
Q: Can the mod be added to the modpacks or used to server's modlist?
A: Yes, if issues happen, please use the issue in GitHub, upload a complete crash report, (maybe double-ended) debug.log/latest.log files and mod list.
Q: If I have suggestions for future development, how can I feedback to you?
A: You can post it in the comments in curseforge, sending issues, and even fork the repository and create PR after modifying to contribute!
Q: Can I propagate the development snapshots?
A: If you donate me in afdian, you can get development snapshots, which will never be published and a release version will publish in a few days after each snapshot is available to download. But we do NOT want you to propagate them. However, public snapshots, beta versions, and release versions are freely distributable.
Q: Can I host speedrunning races for this mod?
A: Yes, and as the author who plays speedrunner for some years, I will strongly support this. You can listen to the completion of real_peaceful_mode:real_peaceful_mode/achieve_all_entities advancement to complete the speedrun timer.
