Instruct the app to use legacy-style ICMP pings. By default, the app retrieves latency information for a location via an HTTP request to a server node. The app should be restarted after adding this parameter, and it is only available on Windows.
ws-use-icmp-pings
Valid as of app version 2.16.2. This parameter disables pings, for users who are concerned that the pings may give a distinct pattern to their network traffic while disconnected. You must restart the app after enabling this parameter.
ws-no-pings
This parameter instructs the ping subsystem to log the ping results.
ws-log-pings
The DCO driver was made the default OpenVPN driver in v2.12.1. The following param can be used to fallback to using the wintun driver:
ws-use-openvpn-wintun
- Instructs the app to use the user-space wintun driver rather than DCO for all OpenVPN-based protocols.
- This param should be added while in the disconnected state. An app restart is not required.
- Custom configs will always use wintun.
- NOTE: use of the DCO driver requires a minimum of Windows 10 20H1. User will be warned in the installer and app logs if they are on an unsupported version and the app will use wintun.
