Profiles

macfand uses profiles to provide a known working configuration. These profiles contain information such as sensor and fan labels and a default configuration for that model which will be overridden by /etc/macfand.conf values.

Presets

This is the default configuration to be used if values aren't specified by the user config file. See Configuration for information about the values for this element.

Profile

This element is used to assign human readable names to sensors and fans.
