"Failed to register this computer" error when using google to login to Mac server

Kia Ora,

I have my 2017 MacBook Air setup as a 'Server' to make sure I can receive iMessage notifications when using my personal iPhone 12 Pro or my Business Galaxy A05s (soon to be Galaxy A16). I was trying to go through initial setup and it shows this error (see below). Is this just a me problem or are others having this issue? I have tried the 2Degrees NZ wifi where I currently am and my Mercury NZ Mobile hotspot from my iPhone, with no luck.

Hope this can be resolved as I would quite to try this.

Unless something changes, this application is no longer being developed or supported. I would recommend openbubbles or bluebubbles.
