• H3 hexbin density — geospatial mine-density heatmap powered by Snowflake's native H3 functions
• EPA Clean Air Markets — CO₂/SO₂/NOₓ emissions per plant via Snowflake Marketplace enrichment
• MSHA safety toll — fatality and injury data surfaced per mine with editorial context
• Static fallback layer — 19 pre-cached subregion JSONs ensure the app works even when Snowflake is unavailable
