Notes:

  1. Power quality (current) measurements are valid for RMS currents in the range 0.2-3.0 A (full range) and 0.005-0.2 A (low range).
  2. There is a small offset current and apparent power due to noise in the current measurement channel. For low power measurements, this error can be minimised by using the 'low range' setting.
  3. To protect the meter, transient components of earth leakage currents are suppressed with a common mode filter. Consequently transient capture of earth-leakage current is not representative of typical field conditions.
  4. There is a small offset earth leakage measurement due to capacitance in the meter and cable. The offset measurement can be found by unplugging the device-under-test.
  5. The power switch on the meter is suppressed with an RC snubber which passes a small amount of current: to isolate the device-under-test, you must unplug it.
