SIB Authors Cut
This is what I have built on top of the S.I.B project as a base to add quests, world edits, and more content. No custom xedit patches that you can't find on the Nexus. Additional treasure and item mods were selected based on LOTD patch support and reported issues people may or may not be having.
DYNDOLOD will complain. It's not a perfectly clean setup but so far it hasn't CTD'd on me while plugging hours into the list. So these issues seem superficial at worst.
The last 3 mods on the Mod Organizer list are for a paper map mod. These should not be activated while creating DYNDOLOD or synthesis patches and should ALWAYS remain at the bottom of your load order.
This mod requires some additional steps. After starting a new game and arriving in Riverwood. Open the MCM menu and find this mod. Import spells. This will search all of your game for mods that can be used with the Spell Research mod. Works with creation club content and the mods selected here. Import everything. Watch the video for full details.
I've purposefully not included passive mods in this list that don't affect things beside immersion. If you are interested in specifics, check the manifest file on the Wabbajack mod viewer to see everything ahead of download.
- Serana Dialogue Addon: Expands Serana to be a little less stiff.
- BA Bard Songs: Adds playable songs to instruments.
- Curators Companion for Legacy of the Dragonborn: A checklist and notification app for items for Legacy of the Dragonborn. Also supports the mods plugged into Legacy of the dragonborn for a full experience.
- Various bird mods that add a little more life to the landscape.
- Underwater Treasure: Makes swimming and water breathing spells worthwhile.
- Lanterns of Skyrim II: Adds lanterns to roads.
- Lux via: Adds bridges, and road light sources.
- New Treasure Hunt SSE: Adds additional treasure hunting maps.
- Stendarr Rising - The Hall of the Vigilant Rebuild: Part of the JK Skyrim set.
- JK's Riverfall Cottage: Part of the JK Skyrim set. Player home.
- JK's cities not included purposefully because I find the compatibility patches required and additional complexity to not be worth running city mods. LOTD and some of the other mods like AI overhaul require so much city customization already that it will bite you eventually. If I ever do a build without LOTD, we'll be combining and merging city mods for fun. Not to mention the FPS hit.
- White Blossom Cottage: I don't use player homes but I also like options. I've picked some of the better ones for that variety.
- Pinewood Cottage: Player home.
- Half-Moon Cottage: Player home.
- The Black Sepulchre: Player home. Assassins'.
- The Enigmatic Tower: Player home. Mages.
- Autumn Gate: Player home.
- Hydda: Witch hut player home.
- Sea Dragon: Sail boat player home.
- Red Rose Mill: Player home.
- All of JK's Interiors. Just all of them.
- Obscure's College of Winterhold: Remodel of the College of Winterhold.
- Bibliophile's Arcanaeum: My wife complained a lot about the Winterhold library not being functional or having a real library feel. Hopefully this helps.
- AI Overhaul: Makes NPC's a little more life like in their daily tasks.
- Vokrii Perks: Some perk adjustments that mildly improves vanilla perks.
- Sacrosanct: Better vampires.
- Growl: Better werebeasts.
- Odin: More magic spell variety.
- Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul: More alchemy variety.
- Spell Research: Spells have to be researched now instead of just eating books to acquire knowledge. Please see nexus page for full details as it requires additional steps to activate and use in MCM.
- Wintersun - Faiths of Skyrim: Religion has more impact over time.
- Blade and Blunt: Smarter enemies, and tighter combat mechanics.
- Conduit: Short term weapon infusions of magic.
- Missives: Adds large quest boards of radiant quests to towns.
- Head Hunter Bounties Redone: Adds actual evidence based head hunting.
- Violens: Fixes kill moves.
- Legacy of the Dragonborn: It's LOTD, supporting mods, patches and integration with other mods like JK's are all included. CreationClub content patches are also included.
- Fossil Mining: Is already included in Legacy of the Dragonborn but the author kept going and adding more features. Fully compatible.
- Moon and Star: New Story.
- The Forgotten City: Award winning story, being made into its own game now.
- Clockwork:Another highly recommended story.
- The wheels of Lull: Supposed to be a really funny well done quest.
- Project AHO: Highly recommended medium sized DLC.
- Vigilant SE: One of the most popular quest mods ever made. Community says the writing in act 3-4 is incredible so stick with it.
- Paarthurnax Quest Expansion: I'm mostly curious to checkout the computer replicated voice acting in this. I hear it's good.
- Thieves Guild Requirements: No more unnecessary radiant quests.
- The Brotherhood of Old: Dark Brotherhood is so much fun but such a short series of quests. This keeps the fun going for a while longer.
- Immersive World Encounters: Several short small encounters to make things more interesting.
- Skyrim Sewers 4: Adds sewers to the major cities.
- Skyrim's got Talent: Bard expansion. Play music for people, get better.

- Handicapped Citizens: Adds people hurt from war.
- INIGO: Follower mod with great voice work and lines.

- The Wheel of Time: It's a series of books. This follower is well voiced and from that universe.
- Immersive College NPCs: More interesting people at the college.
