Mars Protocol

Summary

The Mars Protocol offers an open, decentralized, and permissionless credit protocol that enables users to borrow and lend assets. Mars Protocol consists of three components:

  • Hub: an application-specific blockchain ("app-chain") that hosts the protocol governance, the safety fund, and manages the distribution of protocol revenue
  • Red Bank: a credit protocol
  • Rover: a general-purpose, cross-margin credit account protocol
