Hi @tkphd,
I saw that you pinged me for review in this PR and I was wondering whether you can provide a bit background on this PR? I saw it is already open for quite while. As this PR contains several changes in the GitHub action workflows, I was wondering whether there are specific questions you have regarding reviewing this PR: eg. main checking functional correctness or shall we also check whether certain changes "make sense"?
Thank you.

Hi @florence-bockting, thanks for asking! This is an automatically generated PR, that I have clearly taken my time in reviewing 🤣
The Carpentries added a commit 3 days ago; since you are a maintainer, I added you to CODEOWNERS, and the machinery automatically requested reviews. It's working!!

For the PR, please do check whether the edits "make sense," and haven't broken the build, if you can. For repo files, that means pulling the branch down to your local copy and building it to check for errors. Of the changes are only to the workflow being the scenes, that's more challenging, but a sanity check through human eyes is worthwhile.
