Hey @shredEngineer, thanks very much for your contribution. I have been meaning to return to this project to clean up the build and set up CI. I just published version 1.3.3 to PyPI which should support Python 3.7+, including Python 3.12. Please let me know if you run into any issues. If there are any, perhaps we can revisit this PR. |

@cfobel It would be nice if you could push a new release to pip with this change ASAP so that downstream projects stop breaking on Python 3.12.
