ansible-role-xfce-cool

An Ansible role for installing the Xfce desktop environment and configuring it for use in the COOL. This role is not meant to be generally useful to the community as it has COOL-specific customizations. Please see ansible-role-xfce if you are in need of a more general Xfce role.

What this role does

• Install COOL desktop images from the cool-system repository.
• Create a desktop shortcut to the shared /data mountpoint.
• Install and set the terminal font to JetBrains Mono.
• Configure the clock panel to show the time in UTC.

Installation

This role can be installed via the command:

ansible-galaxy install --role-file path/to/requirements.yml

where requirements.yml looks like:

---
- name: xfce_cool
  src: https://github.com/cisagov/ansible-role-xfce-cool

and may contain other roles as well.

Here's how to use it in a playbook:
