In response to #791, change
make re.bootto record success so that a subsequentmakedoesn't start over with pb. The<m>.boottarget already worked that way, and so both targets now use the same helper.Meanwhile, avoid building a
pbexecutable if it won't be run for building platform-specific boot files.
