WARNING:

Importing of Genesis 9 content using this tool has resulted in some content rejection and account bans depending on the human moderator reviewing the content. We are working continuously with Roblox to clarify concerns, update the pipeline and request policy updates. Do NOT test with an account containing important or valuable content that you can not afford to lose access to.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Daz Studio 4.22+
  • Blender 3.6 or 4.0+
  • Roblox Studio
  • In order to use the S1 Roblox Avatar Auto-Setup export type, you must enable the Avatar Auto-Setup checkbox by going to File->Beta Features from the Roblox Studio main menu. Then, you may select Roblox S1 for Avatar Auto Setup option from the Asset Type drop-down of the Daz To Roblox Avatar Exporter.
  • Daz Studio character must be nude, without hair, clothing or other attachments.

NEW IN VERSION 1.2.161:

  • Bug fix for Geometry Tool Edit Mode in Daz Studio

VERSION 1.2.160:

  • Open Beta with 28-day activation period
  • Support for facial animation in R15 pathway
  • Improved decimation quality in R15 pathway
  • Improved UI/UX

KNOWN ISSUES AND FAQ:

  • When uploading to Roblox with Rthro Narrow Rig Scale, there may be gaps between body parts. You must adjust your avatar's body build by going to Avatar -> Customize -> Head & Body -> Build and move the Body Type to the top left corner of the Body Type triangle.
  • If your Roblox character appears to be leaning back unnaturally when idle, then you need to customize your character animations and select Realistic-Idle or Rthro Idle.
  • If Roblox Studio rejects a character's ColorMap, NormalMap, or RoughnessMap within seconds of importing your .fbx file, then try deleting the .fbm texture subfolder which will be located within the same folder as your .fbx file, then redo the Import 3D File process in Roblox Studio.
  • Genesis 8/8.1 is not yet supported.
  • Mac users may need to run the final Blender scripts manually: Open a terminal to your Intermediate Folder and then cd to the subfolder containing your exported character. Run the blender script by typing sh manual_blender_script.sh and press Enter.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Make sure to uninstall and delete any previous Daz Install Manager packages for any older versions before installing this latest version. See instructions below on uninstalling and deleting.
  2. Download the .package file for your system (Win64 or Mac64) from: https://github.com/daz3d/DazToRoblox/releases
