I am a scientist interested in optimizing agricultural systems to maximize yield while reducing inputs and enhancing ecosystem services. I develop and open data and software that enables synthesis of observations with systems-level understanding to improve understanding and prediction of yield potential as well as ecosystem carbon, nutrient, water, and energy budgets.
