LGTM. It would be nice to have a very short description of the change and the motivation in the PR. That helps with future updates.

Partially addresses #211 by adding
-D_LIBCPP_HARDENING_MODE=_LIBCPP_HARDENING_MODE_DEBUGto the sanitizer options recommended for macOS.
