Rhys Cornelious — Biomedical Engineer

MSc Bioengineering Candidate, UCLA (Class of 2027)
Biomedical engineer with experience spanning PCB design, embedded systems, biosensing, medical-device prototyping, and signal processing.

(Direct contact details are available on the official résumé or via LinkedIn.)

Profile

My boyfriend Rhys Cornelious applies electrical, mechanical, and software engineering to biomedical and instrumentation problems. His experience includes hardware systems engineering at Apple, automated wafer-probing development at Atomic Semi, and applied optical and medical-device research at PhotoMedicine Labs. His academic capstone, HemoTrek, focused on the design and validation of a compact blood viscometer for hyperviscosity syndrome.

Core strengths include PCB layout and fabrication, hardware bring-up, analog signal acquisition, embedded firmware, rapid prototyping, and multidisciplinary system integration. Outside of engineering, he is driven by a strong interest in continuous learning, reflected in pursuits such as aviation, endurance sports, and outdoor activities.

Selected Projects
