In order to upgrade to this version you must delete everything from your installation except your prefs and albumart directories, then copy the new version in.

  • Fix bug where genres in the collection could be very slow to open
  • Fix bug with MPD support where RompR would try to connect to the websocket server even if it isn't running, leading to very slow UI updates.
  • Fix bug where TuneIn radio stations didn't work for MPD users. (Was fixed in 2.24 but this is a better fix)
  • You can now select, upload, and modify album art right from the collection browser

Spotify Spoils It For Everybody

  • Spotify have moved their API behind a paywall. If I want to keep using it I have to have a Spotify premium subscription, and I don't want one of those. While it might have been possible to let users supply their own Spotify credentials, I would never have been able to test any Spotify-related code so it's not workable. All functionaility that used Spotify's API has been removed:
  • The Spotify Info panel
  • Genre radio under 'Music from Everywhere'
  • The Discoverator
  • The 3 Spotify Personalised Radio stations
