Going to Gradle 9.X will mean dropping support for Java 11. We could do something in the build system to use different Gradle versions depending on the Java version, but cleaner is probably to drop Java 11 support when Java 25 is added. Since Java 25 is still relatively new it could make sense to wait a while longer before rolling the versions |
