In order to exectue this program, download code1.S and the makefile and move them to the same directory. Open the terminal and cd into that directory. Once there, execute the makefile by entering the command 'make all'. The program should have compiled successfully. Now enter into the terminal the command './code1.out'. The program will prompt you to enter a string no longer than 12 characters. If that string exceeds the limit, the program will produce an error message, otherwise you will be prompted to enter another string no longer than 12 characters. If that string exceeds the limit, the program will produce a different error message, otherwise it will print the cocatenated string and its length to the terminal.
