gopls 1.18 brings a new
modernizeanalyzer that "reports hint diagnostics suggesting ways that Go code could be updated to take advantage of new Go language features and standard library APIs."This PR applies all those changes with
go run golang.org/x/tools/gopls/internal/analysis/modernize/cmd/modernize@latest -fix -test ./...so anyone using the latest gopls won't get hints about them.
