I've been working on a revamp of the cabal website and inherited what looks to be an unpublished announcement about cabal v2. I've had a look and this doesn't seem to be a copy of the release notes so perhaps it deserves to be hosted on this blog, rather than on a separate
haskell.org/cabalblog (see haskell/cabal-website#5 (comment))?
