Proposed Changes

There's a warning in the logs

nginx: [warn] the "listen ... http2" directive is deprecated, use the "http2" directive instead in /etc/nginx/servers/direct.conf:3

It's fixed by using the parameter "http2 on;"

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • Chores
    • Updated server configuration to explicitly enable HTTP/2 when SSL is active. No impact on user-facing features.

Walkthrough

The Nginx configuration template was updated to change how HTTP/2 is enabled when SSL is active. Instead of specifying HTTP/2 as a parameter in the listen directive, HTTP/2 is now explicitly enabled using a separate http2 on; directive.

Modified the server block to enable HTTP/2 via a separate http2 on; directive rather than as a parameter in the listen directive.

Poem

A tweak to Nginx, crisp and neat,
HTTP/2 now stands on its own two feet.
No longer bundled in a listen line,
A separate directive—how refined!
The server hums, the configs shine,
Another hop in code—how divine! 🐇✨

5-6: LGTM! Correctly addresses nginx HTTP/2 deprecation warning.

The change properly updates the nginx configuration to use the modern http2 on; directive instead of the deprecated http2 parameter in the listen directive. This eliminates the deprecation warning while maintaining the same HTTP/2 functionality when SSL is enabled.
