Gnuplot is an interactive plotting programs, controlled from the command line. It uses delimited text files for both quick and dirty, and more technical plots. Scripting is supported, as are multiple output formats and 3D plotting.

It is important to note that it is not an analysis tool. It supports basic fitting, but primarily this tool is designed to plot - and do it well!
