None of the words are proper nouns in the referenced document. Also update document year from 2001 to 2014.

is a bug.

Yes, and it has been addressed in the final draft (to be published as RFC 9711). We will be updating the markdown in the repo after we finish addressing feedback from the RFC Editor. I have kept the PR open to remind me to bring this change back to the markdown.

Thanks for the official number! I've been using RFC XXXX as a placeholder in the SPDM specification. Good to see it almost ratified.
