Welcome to the adafruit-pca9685 wiki!

This project was initially created so that I could learn more about creating a node module, at the same time playing with the Adafruit PCA9685 board, and socket.io (see the demo).

Since it started in early 2014, the original target platform was early raspberry pis with early versions of node.

I've recently updated the dependencies lists so that it builds easier with later versions of node. I am currently testing with node v 7.7.3 using raspberry pi model B+, raspberry pi 2 model B v1.2, and raspberry pi 3 model B.

For odd historical reasons, I'm not one of the maintainers of the project on npmjs. I do try to stay in touch with the owner on npm in hopes that the module will remain current, but so far, all that it's needed is updating dependency versions.
