This is a bug fix for frame grabbing that was failing after recent updates to MacOS. Bug in a private tracker at mbari-org/vars-feedback#167

If you’re using a Mac, I highly recommend changing the Sharktopoda frame capture port from the default 5000 to 5001. Port 5000 is used by Apple’s AirPlay sharing and may interfere with communication between Sharktopoda and VARS Annotation.
To change the port, click the gear icon in the VARS Annotation toolbar, navigate to the Sharktopoda tab in the settings, and update the framecapture port number. See the image below:
