@opensearch-project/infra-read-only can we prevent these automated PRs as there's no 2.20 release planned? I've already closed this multiple times.

Hi @ohltyler
Even though the release is not planned, in case of an urgent release (CVEs, urgent fixes, etc) it is good to be ready. Following the branching strategy, it is recommended to keep the branches updated to that possibility. We have an automation in place that looks at cores repo. TL;DR: If they bump the versions, a manifest is created and all repos receive the version increment PRs and release issues.

@gaiksaya we will not have 2.20 release right? Any urgent release will only base on 2.19 just like 1.3.x.
I think it makes sense to stop the automation for this.
