To install simply clone the project. That's it. Then you may launch the game by opening the index.html ( the JS for the game is already build ).
To play around with the source simply load the src folder in your text editor of choice.Then open a command line/ terminal in the base folder of the repo and type npm run dev. Now you're ready to play around with the source.
