Switch to linux-yocto 6.12 (from 6.6) and drop local 6.6 changes (#746)

OE-Core 6c445a6995f810e48a25cc0c13f37271836cba00 removed linux-yocto 6.6, since 6.12 is now the default linux-yocto version.
