Introduction

This project is about representing the evolution of the municipalities of the Canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, over time.

The application is available under https://sssammm.shinyapps.io/munstat_ne/.

• demographics_app: contains the Shiny app itself
• doc: contains the project documentation
• notebooks: contains exploratory notebooks
• src: contains the source files

Things to implement s.t. the app is functional

• Add input to select municipality
• Add input for sex
• Add input for nationality
• Add a smoother
• Make possbile to select multiple municipalities
• Add input for normal vs. log scale
• Make backend to work
• Improve appearance
• Make data downloadable and display their source
• Publish app

• Make it easy to download the app and recreate the environment
• Add a map with year selection input
• Add button to upload data
