Although now looking through your other work (https://github.com/quickemu-project), I guess you'd probably prefer not use Docker for this :-D. But still might be a useful as a breadcrumb of info for those trying to install latest version from non-Linux machines :) |

Let me know if you'd be interested in accepting a PR like this, or can make changes if wanted. Got it working for latest Ubuntu MATE version of 24.04 and could respin the image in a Mac before installing it. Works great, thanks. Photo evidence below:
