YAI is a governed OS-like system under active refoundation.
This repository is the canonical source tree for the YAI operating-system runtime and root topology. It is no longer treated as an application host with an attached engine layer; it is being restructured as a system with native primitives, governed execution domains, and internal policy/enforcement surfaces.
The current refoundation work is centered on:
- canonical YAI root surfaces
- governed domain primitives such as
case - runtime supervision under
sup - policy/governance separation and refoundation
- progressive de-centering of legacy orchestration assumptions
This tree contains a mix of:
- imported Linux body
- canonical YAI adaptation surfaces
- native YAI runtime and governance material
The repository is under active structural consolidation.
Some root-level files and surfaces are still transitional. Canonical root identity and configuration are being normalized progressively.
