Economic impact: household income (simplest way to talk about economic situation of each community) Health impact: violence, obesity, asthma, mental health. Infrastructure: where is it: bike lanes and Divvy (Divvys per ward, and bike lanes per ward maps), bike racks.

Researchers: How do you measure health impact? Mortality rate, to paint a picture of population issues. Chicago Health Atlas. Derek: If these places have higher mortality, then we should install bike lanes? That’s a tenuous link. Tristan: Agreed. Obesity rates are more strongly linked to biking. Let’s do both.

Steven talked about building a data infrastructure that will help our team build our tools.
