Installing Zenda is relatively easy. From the releases page, you can choose either the portable or the installer.
- Portable: a ZIP file containing the folder with the Zenda program. 9/10 times the programmers choice.
- Setup: a EXE executable that installs the Zenda program. This is the easy way for installing the program.
Which one you pick is personal preference. The portable anyone can use, while the installer wants administrator permission to install into the Program Files folder on your PC.
Depending on your choice, opening Zenda goes like any other program:
- Portable: Search for the "Zenda" folder where you unzipped the ZIP and double click "Zenda.exe"
- Installer: If desktop shortcut option was checked during installation, search for the shortcut and click it's icon twice. Else run it by searching for it in the searchbar from Windows.
Zenda's splashscreen should now appear and the program itself should open in a few seconds. If you encounter any errors or something else unexpected, head over to the Troubleshooting page.
