Disabled Update Site

There are update sites for this extension, but they are disabled. You are not receiving updates for this extension. This can also cause this extension to appear as “incompatible” when updating Joomla!.

Why is it a problem?

Extensions with no active update sites cannot be updated. If there is a functional or security issue it will nto be fixed, with everything that entails for the functionality and security of your site.

Suggested fix

Let Onthos enable the disabled update site.

If the update site gets disabled again automatically after checking for updates the problem may be that the update site URL is no longer responding (it may have changed, the extension is discontinued, …), or that there is a network issue trying to load its contents. In the latter case, if the problem persist you will need to contact your host with the URL of the disabled update site. We have seen a lot of cases where a misconfigured transparent proxy for outgoing requests on the host's server has been consistently causing update sites from different (but not all!) extensions to become disabled.
