Sample Entry

One of the first steps to analyzing a sample in pychron is to add the sample information to the pychron "database". This can be accomplished manually using a Database Editor such as MySQL Workbench or DataGrip.

Pychron also offers its own Sample Entry GUI. See Menubar\Entry\Sample.

Steps

1. Open Sample Entry Window
2. Enter/Select an existing Principal Investigator.
3. Enter/Select a Project name.
4. Enter a Sample and material and click the green "+" button.
5. Repeat steps 2 - 4. If PI/Project the same jump directly to step 4.
6. Clicking the green "+" button simply enqueues the data from saving. Click "Save" button on the windows "toolbar" to save the pi, project, and sample to the database
