Randy,
This isn't a request to pull the simple gimbal demo. It's for the exit_mode() changes in flight_mode.pde.
These are needed to restore manual control to the gimbal after an ROI mission.

Here is a most basic 2 axis Brushless gimbal controller.
You must setup your gimbal to go from 0-90° with 1000 to 1500 PWM. Setup RC_9 as function # 28 to control gimbal.
