Abundance

Maurice HT Ling edited this page May 18, 2025 · 1 revision

I walked not to chase but to greet the day
Gentle wind bore fruit in quiet way
No longer grasping or clenched in need
I sowed no fear and fed no greed
A single sip with line well penned
A friend who stays past story’s end
Enough is not a store
A space to breathe and give some more
The world sings in subtle tones
Not merely in gold or polished stones
But where a heart expands
When joy held with open hands
Now I plant with soul and grace
Not for yield but for place
Where rest and wonder intertwine
A quiet life which is abundantly mine
