Anchored Light
I do not chase
I do not roam
The sea is vast
But I am home
I cast my light
With no need to call
They will find me when the shadows fall
— 24/07/25
Commentary: I guess I am getting more comfortable with the idea of anchoring, cast my beacon; and let whoever needs me come to me. I am no longer a vessel charting new territory alone. I am an anchored lightship; luminous, and patient. My role is no longer to chase every horizon but to cast my beacon; clear, and unwavering; and trust that those navigating difficult seas will find me when the time is right. And that is more than enough.
