Last Week of 45

The week before I turn forty-six
Very tiring but very productive
Need to get my overcommittment fix
Teaching hours runs to thirty-six
Marked twelve dissertations
Constructive comments in my communications
Edited two dissertations into manuscripts
Hoping to get published for their deed
Went to gym twice
And seventeen kilometres jogged
Last but not least
Forty-six assignments off my marking backlog
A dissertation supervision contract signed into my catalog
Far too busy for a week
So far top my productivity peak
Also too deep into overcommittment creek
This will not be repeated
At least the week is completed
But I am also exhausted
For what I ask
A mistake and a challenge done

Commentary: My most productive week (23/03/25 to 29/03/25) to date – (1) 36 hours of teaching, (2) marked 12 dissertations, (3) marked 46 assignments., (4) gymmed 2x, (5) jogged 17 km, and (6) clobbered 2 dissertations into manuscript for journal submissions. But this is due to misplanning and overcommitment – Never ever again to repeat this.
