Decorations and Building
The modpack introduces many, MANY new decoration items and building blocks to go with it all. I advise you to take your time to explore the catalog offered by EMI in game to check them out.
Some new decorations can be interacted with, like Benches that you can sit on, or have other uses. As it is obvious the ones without other utilities will only be made and used for appearance, let's focus on the ones with added benefits.
Vanilla Max has all Tuff and Copper new building and decoration blocks from 1.21 backported into it.
Has now slabs, with Grass and Coarse Dirt variations. We are friendly to hobbits.
A small but efficient tool to overcome height differences of up to 10 blocks. Attach it to the bottom side of a block, then, you can climb down or up the rope.
The modpack adds new trees, and respective logs and planks.
- Coconut
- Chestnut
- Ebony
- Walnut
- Pine
- Palm
- Azalea (while the tree existed in vanilla, now it has its own type of wood)
The woodcutter behaves similarly to the vanilla stonecutter, but instead of stone allows you to easily craft wood recipes directly from logs.
Similar to a usual Cauldron you can store Powder Snow and Water inside of it - it's the perfect early game alternative to save Iron.
... Lava? No. You can't place Lava inside of it. It's a Wooden Cauldron.
A beautiful decoration for walls, passageways, etc., which can also be used to cultivate jungle grapes.
The application is quite simple: Target the lattice and right-click to place your jungle grape seeds.
It connects to the adjacent lattice to the right or left. If you're holding an axe and right-click on the Lattice, you can toggle the supports on or off. It also offers two different placement options: on top of the block or on the side of another block.
Used to store wine. Come in diverse variations regarding wood type, size, and arrangement.
Planning a wedding? Store and display collected rings.
- Shift-Right-Click: Opening / Closing the Box.
- Right-Click: While holding a Ring to place / take a Ring.
Note: You can store all rings that use the #ring tag in it.
Allows to store Cheese Wheels. You can only eat from the cheese wheels if they are placed as a block outside of a rack, though.
The ideal storage solution for your culinary related tools and pans doubles as deco.
It can be used to store Milk and Water.
Has the same effect as a vanilla Lantern.
While this new decoration built with Seashells obtained in the beach looks nice, it's also useful to hide Turtle Eggs from Zombies and other mobs.
Meant to be used as a bed on the fly, you can quickly place them to sleep and go about your business. They don't save as a respawn point, so you can keep it on a bed on your actual base while being able to go very far away.
The typewriter is ideal for writing longer letters - and of course, it's also perfect for decoration.
Right-click to add paper while holding note paper in your main hand. Another right-click will then open the interface. Once you have finished the letter, you can sign it and remove it with another right-click.
