e.g.

svn diff … > changes svn patch changes

Straight from the SharePoint doc this doesn't make a bunch of sense.

I suspect what is more appropriate ar this stage is to "svn merge" other tickets into this branch are particularly relevant AND not yet in the release version from which this ticket is branched.
